1. Introduction
Welcome to Sweet Treasures Cake Co. By placing an order through our website or directly with us, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.
2. Orders & Availability
- All products are made to order and subject to availability.
- We recommend placing orders at least 2 days in advance to ensure availability.
- Orders are only confirmed once full or partial payment has been received.
- We reserve the right to decline any order at our discretion.
3. Pricing & Payments
- All prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR) and are subject to change without notice.
- A non-refundable deposit of [50%] is required to secure your order.
- The remaining balance must be paid 1 day before collection/delivery.
- Failure to complete payment may result in cancellation of your order.
4. Custom Orders
- We specialise in custom cakes and treats; therefore, designs are created based on your brief.
- While we aim to match inspiration images, exact replicas cannot be guaranteed.
- Colours and finishes may vary slightly due to lighting, ingredients, and artistic interpretation.
5. Cancellations & Refunds
- Deposits are non-refundable.
- Cancellations made 7 days before the collection/delivery date may be eligible for partial refunds (excluding deposit).
- No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 3 days of the event.
- In the unlikely event that we need to cancel your order, a full refund will be provided.
6. Collection & Delivery
- Orders must be collected or delivered on the agreed date and time.
- Once a product has been collected or delivered, Sweet Treasures Cake Co. is not liable for any damage.
- It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure safe transport and storage.
- Delivery fees apply and are a flat rate of R230 in and around Johannesburg.
7. Product Care
- Cakes and baked goods are perishable and should be stored as advised at collection.
- Products should be kept in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- We are not responsible for damage caused by improper storage or handling.
8. Allergies & Dietary Requirements
- Our products may contain or come into contact with nuts, dairy, eggs, gluten, and other allergens.
- Customers must inform us of any allergies at the time of ordering.
- While we take precautions, we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.
9. Design & Creative Rights
- Sweet Treasures Cake Co. reserves the right to use images of all products for marketing and promotional purposes.
- Any intellectual property or custom designs created remain the property of Sweet Treasures Cake Co.
10. Complaints
- Any issues must be reported within 24 hours of collection/delivery with photographic evidence.
- We will assess and respond accordingly, and resolutions may include partial refunds or replacements where appropriate.
11. Liability
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products.
- By placing an order, you agree that our liability is limited to the value of the purchased product.
12. Amendments
- Sweet Treasures Cake Co. reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.
