Ingredients
Sucrose, Wheat Flour, Cornflour, Raising Agents, Salt, Flavouring, Cocoa Powder
Baking instructions
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, add the sugar cookie mix. Add softened margarine to the dry mix. Using your hands, or a spatula or a mixer with a paddle attachment, blend until the mixture resembles coarse breadcrumbs.
Add the egg/s to the mixture and mix until a dough forms. If the dough feels too dry or crumbly, add a tablespoon of milk or water until it comes together smoothly.
Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes to make it easier to handle and to reduce spreading during baking.
Roll the dough out to 1 cm thickness on a lightly floured surface. Use a cutter to shape your cookies.
Place cookies on the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between them. Bake for 12-17 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
